Photos taken by guest photographer John M. H. on 02/20/14. Pictures are of the US Customs port of entry on the Meridian Road, Town of Champlain. Had been closed prior to 2000. Canada is on the other side of the gate. The small building was where the cattle were were checked prior to coming into the country. Notice the ornate railing on top of the carport and the nice old flag pole.

I took the pictures at different times this month, April 2014. It has been closed, I would guess around 10 years now. Notice the gas prices."

On 1/9/21 Ron Watson wrote "For any following as of current (2021) Truck pumps and scale block are gone unsure of when. The garage building is leased out to Elegance Coating and inside has undergone some changes to make it functional from being abandoned for so long and to serve safe useage. The rest of the site still sits unused reminding passers by of better days."
