Sylvester Road, Town of Clayton, Jefferson County. Location suggested by
Kevin B. What must have been a great old farm with two large barns, a
large old house, and a few other small biuldings. See more photos below.
A number of the windows were broken out of this house and an amazing amount of
brush had grown up around and especially in front of the house. No sign of
power lines or telephone going into the house, but from what could be seen from
the road the barns looked like they had been used for hay not too long ago.
The barns look to be in pretty bad shape but the house at one time was a
beautiful old structure, and doesn't look like a total loss if someone put some
work into it. Beside the house was a trailer which looked like it hadn't
been abandoned that long, or possibly it is even still in use.

of the three cooperatives that merged from Agway.
On
2/19/14 Adrian Brienza asks
"Is this building railroad related by any chance???"
On
3/8/14 Carol writes "There's also an abandoned
GLF on st rt 104 between Oswego & Rochester NY."
On 4/8/14
John M.H. writes "The GLF is 200 feet or so from the railroad depot. The rail
beds have been long gone, but there probably was a rail siding there at one
time!"
