11/17/12 Ben Gardiner writes "I believe the River is actually the Chazy River
rather than Hazy River. It is also referred to as the Great Chazy River. My
Mother is a native of Altona and I visited there frequently as a youngster. You
have some great pictures in this group!"

County. It was constructed by William H. Miner and consisted of an upper dam and
power house (located in Fineberg Park, Altona) and the aqua duct leading to the
lower power house.
