Bridge crossing the Chazy River
(Thanks to Ben Gardiner for the correction on the name of the river)

On 11/17/12 Ben Gardiner writes "I believe the River is actually the Chazy River rather than Hazy River. It is also referred to as the Great Chazy River. My Mother is a native of Altona and I visited there frequently as a youngster. You have some great pictures in this group!"

Pictures of the Lower Power House in Altona, Clinton County. It was constructed by William H. Miner and consisted of an upper dam and power house (located in Fineberg Park, Altona) and the aqua duct leading to the lower power house.

This picture is of the Lower Power House taken from the Joe Wood Road. The power house is not visible from this road when the leaves are on the trees.
