Large stone house in Stone
Mills, Rt. 180, known as the Irwin Brothers Store or Mill Store
List on
National Registry of Historic Places which list it's
architectural style as Greek Revival, Federal and the time period beginning in
1825.
Update - being stripped and restored, possibly owned now by the
Stone Mills Historical
Museum? Update on 4/10/07 - it looks like a portion of the rear of
this stone building has collapsed. Update on 09/09/2008 - from
observations it seems that
some work is being done on the collapsed rear section.

On May 28, 2024 Christina Jones writes "Only the center section of the building is there now and it's beginning to collapse in on itself I drive by it 3 times a week and own a house down the road from it. They rebuilt the foundation on the old barn beside it but I'm afraid they aren't doing much with the stone building.
